    I'd consider one on a light build, but on a heavy barrel gun it would really be nose heavy.
    Just don't think it would balance well on a heavy barrel build.

    Well, my Steyr AUG is mostly plastic so I have no doubt that it can work.

    Wait, says california compliant model, doesn't that mean it doesn't have an open magazine well? The bottoms gonna be blocked and you have to open the gun to load it from the top with its little internal magazine right?

    That aside, personally I'd pass. I'm a big fan of polymer, but not on something that was originally engineered to be a very strong alloy aluminum. Not only that but my previous bad luck with carbon-ordnance/bushmaster receivers doesn't help any.

    Not really. You can get a magazine release the requires a tool to release the magazine. The tool can be the tip of a bullet. It is called a bullet button.
