About $150.00 tops. That is if it's in cosemetically good shape. If not, $75.00.

With the entire country awash with $75 M44s, even with the return papers it is hard to get much more than double the amount of a current import.

If you find someone that collects war trophies you might get as much as $200 for it.

I don't know about the Russian 44, but several years ago, I had a Chinese SKS that was evidently a Vietnam bring-back. I say "evidently," because there were no importer marks. It was well-used, but sound. By the time the US allowed importation of commie guns, all imports had to be marked by their importers.

I put the gun up for sale here on Gunbroker, and it brought about 3 times what the equivalent SKS with importer marking would have brought. It might have done better if it had come with its paperwork.

44's have dried up on the surplus marker for a time now..91/30's are the push right now.... bought a 44 at dunhams but dumped it an an auction house after commission i broke even for my 75 dollars..put it up on the auction side and see how it goes i expect that a slight premium could be had as a non import..heck i may just take a look see[:D]
