M1, M2 30 cal mag id

I was reading about Winchester mags and decided to look at mine.

On the back ,one says "IS" in letters and
the other, one say "QU" que you

anyone have any guesses?

    mine has the letter K on the bottom,on the side KI

    IS is Standard Products. QU is Quality Hardware.
    KI is Inland.

    According to James Wesley Rawles, who has done much research on the subject, QU mags were made by Quality Hardware, & IS mags were made by International Silver.

    USGI mags have the manufacturers mark on the spine. Letters on other locations would indicate commercial or foreign manufacture.

    mine is a 15rd that should be irwin pedersen,30 rd is inland...it's wrapped in a heavy wax paper.

    actually i didn't realize what i had til i read your post,looks like pedersen is rare,2 on the auction side in rough/used condition asking $75ea the one i have is unused in the wax paper...
