It would be much better and much easier for us to help you if you could tell us what pistol you have. Generally pistol ammo is either 7.62 or 7.65, depending on the pistol. Give us all the markings on the pistol so we can help you with its identification.

The only 7.35 I'm aware of is the Carcano rifle.

    You sure you aren't confusing 6.35 (.25 acp) and 7.65 (.32 acp?)

There might be a pistol out there that uses .300" bullets but I don't know about it. What are you loading for? You handload or do you need ammo? Bullets are just the projectiles. Might help us suggest where to look.

Ok here are photos. I'm confused also. I guess I'm looking for ammo. Mike

Very interesting. It appears to be a standard Beretta M1935 in .32 ACP. See http://www.berettaweb.com/armi/Beretta mod 1934 & 1935.htm

It does also clearly seem to say 7.35. My guess is it is either a mis-stamp or overstrike. Odd.

See what anyone else says? You might also post this over on the italian firearms forums at gunboards.

That's very interesting. A 32 auto will chamber and eject but I haven't tried to fire it until I was sure. Mike

Look at it with a magnifying glass, looks like there might be a "clean" indentation where back of a six would be.

Shoot 32ACP ammo out of it.
    It's misstamped.

That's what I was thinking but I wanted to make sure. I guess they were in a hurry to get it out for the war? Mike

7.65. Upon close examination, the channels made by the die-strike are not the same as the horizontal line above the '6'. The line above the '6' is FOD.

You're good to go W/any quality .32 ACP rounds. Best, Joe
