VZ-52 Bayonet Assembly Removal

Here I am again!

I need to get the bayonet assembly and band off of a VZ-52 stock. I have the rifle works out and have removed the long bolt from the bayonet assembly itself, but the darn thing won't budge. Could it be just a case of it being welded in place by age or have I missed something entirely obvious? Thanks!
