Hello Boomer I see your question has been posted for some time without a answer. Your model 39-2 is a quality firearm and in very good condition .However IMHO this is an aged design made almost 40 years ago and not old enough or ever popular enough to be collectible at the same time it is not new enough to have all the design features of modern 9MM hand-guns . This will limit it's value to somewhere around $300.00 on a GOOD day. If it were mine I would keep and enjoy shooting it . 0 -
I sold a nickel 39-2 a few months ago and it only went for about $375 on auction. 0 -
I agree with the $300 since I bought one in about 85 -90% condition like yours. Yes, it is 1950 techno. but it sure is a good pointer and reliable. 0 -
bOOmer...Hummm...actually I did reply to this post on 1/23 so a bit confused as to why it is coming up again. Anyway, the M39 is dated but a great gun, nonetheless. Value? IMHO $300 or so is about what it is worth, perhaps a little more with box and papers. It it was mine and I was going to try to sell it I would get another set of grips for it as those look a bit worn (is that a hairline crack on the left grip or my old eyes?) I have one in nickel and love it...wonderful shooter and don't think I will part with it. Good shooting! 0 -
Saw 2 sell at a firearm auction on January 1st. About the same condition as your's. Both brought $380 0
