H & R 999 value

Can you please tell me the value of my H & R Sportsman 999? It is in excellent condition, purchased in late 1990's. 4 inch S/N HL006043

  manufactured in 1997. the 30th edition of the blue book does not list these NEF/H&R 1871 manufactured model 999 but they generally sell for about 10 to 15% less than the older original H&R ones.

  pcarey,
  The link shown in the previous post is NOT the same as your revolver.
  It is a model 999 manufactured in 1981 by the original H&R company.
  Yours was manufactured after the H&R bankruptcy, and made by NEF/H&R 1871.
  For a good guess as to value, take the selling price of the auction listed, and subtract BILL's estimate. The original H&R pieces definately bring more money than the NEF stuff.
