Mini 14 magazines
I just bought a 183 series from my brother and I want some additional magazines. Is there any difference between between pre-ban and current offerings?

Not that I am aware of. Just make sure you buy factory mags for this gun. I am not aware of any aftermarket ones that work well. 0 -
Do difference, but absolutely buy only Factory. 0 -
Factory mags are inexpensive enough to get some of those now days.
The only other mags I have heard were worth anything are Masen Warrior Mags. They are only about half the price of the factory mags.0 -
The only aftermarket mags that are John Mason mags. I found them at a gun show before the ban was lifted. I would stick with the factory mags now that can get them for $30 or $40 . Tim 0 -
You can order mags directly from Ruger's websight for a decent price!
The 20 round mags used to sell for $29.95 but I see they jumped to $39.95 now. [:(!]

Not that I know of, ruger is offering 20 and 30 rnd mags now..
CJ weapones makes the best non factory mini mags that I know of..0 -
We issue Mini's, and have never had a non-factory mag work reliably in the 60 we have out right now. I also own my own ranch rifle, and none of the aftermarket 20, 30 or 40 rounders from various sources I have work well in it either. Stick with the factory ones, and you'll be happy. 0 -
I'm replacing my non-factory mags with factory ones, slowly but surely. That means my authentic, mostly never used USA Mags are up for grabs...cheap while they last 0
