Since E-Bay won't let us buy and sell reloading stuff anymore, sellers on GunBroker are starting to go wild on prices.[xx(]

Just picked up supplies, Prices I paid are $33 for W209 primers per K, 700x power was $105 per 8 pounds, shot at $33 going up to $39. 4053 Imr was $23 per lb.
Gonna have to quit reloading!0 -
If those prices cause you to quit reloading, just go price factory ammo .
I know what ur saying tho, high prices on anything sting....er,stink.0 -
The 700X seems pretty reasonable to me. That's $13.13/lb.
4053? Is that a new powder or do you mean 4350? $23/lb is a tad high, yes... I get it for $18 locally. Never more than $20.
Shot? Gander mountain is at $50/bag. I buy mine online. Even with freight it's cheaper that way.
Primers? $33 is below average here for any primer. $35 is average, and shotgun primers run about $40.
I'd say you're doing ok on the primers and shot, very well on the 700X, and only getting ripped a bit on the IMR 4350.
Now that said.... granted I started this fairly recently (1999) but I've seen prices skyrocket too. I miss $8.99/100 bullets and $12/lb powder.0 -
buy in bulk and the hazmat fee will be offset. Go in with other reloaders on orders, that is the only way the "real" savings comes in. 0
