what is the year and model of CVA flintlock rifle

    I sent a letter to CVA about this some time back. The first two digits of the serial number are the year.......... CVA answered my questions promptly.. You might try asking them directly... Good Luck...

    This number is on my cva flintlock 50 cal pistol..003798.

    so the year is 2000?

    If it was made in either Spain or Italy, one of the Proof Marks is a coded date.

    It has spain written on it to right side of 50 cal wording.
