L7A1 9mm in AR-15?

Is it safe to shoot Hirtenberger's L7A1 9mm +P++ ball ammo through my Olympic AR-15 9mm upper? I know it was made for subguns, but I wasn't sure about the AR holding up under that kind of pressure. Thanks for any help!
