    the site states I do not have permission but I can open other pdf files.

    Go to this page, and, near the bottom of the "C" section, search for the clickable link "CVA Sidelock":

    "Steve" has had many problems with people abusing the privilage of downloading his freely-offered information. That could be why a direct link to the manual, like Spider posted, will not work.

    You can go to http://www.cva.com to get that too and just good old black powder will give you plenty of smoke.
