45 colt SAA
I have a second generation SAA 45 colt still in the box Black box with colt on the top one end has a label on it showing a 5 1/2 inch barrel. The gun is in the oil paper that it cam with and the two pamphlets that came with it. My dad never fired it but the cylinder has a fine li around it, as a kid I used to rotate the cylinder so I am assuming this is what it's from. The serial number is 7981SA. Any ideas what it is worth???

Some where in the range of $1750.00 - $2250.00 with the line . Short barrel would have brought more I like 571/2 inch but they go cheaper then either the 7&1/2 or the 4&5/8 . this is a buyer market not a sellers market wait a few years and the price that it will bring will go up . However Family gun would not be for sale unless I had to for roof over my head or food on the table. 0 -
