Weatherby Patrician Serial # 000099
Hey Folks:
I my sister has a family gun that she got from my grandfather. It's an old Patrician (yes I know the 60's and 70's ain't that old). I believe it is a Deluxe, 12 Gauge, Checkered Stock, Light Engraving, Fancy Wood, Vent Rib...in VERY Good condition. The neat thing about it is that the serial number is 000099. I don't know if it is an S or an N for the prefix. Anyway, she is going to let me have it, but I want to be sure she gets what it is worth. Any info would be great. I always loved that old gun. Especially because of the serial number. Frankly I don't think any of us put more than a few boxes of shells through it.

Assuming it's the Weatherby Patrician pump shotgun, there's a number of them listed on the auction side. They are listed around $500-700 and none are selling. Check the auction side, search on "patrician" and you will see. I'd guess if you offered her $450 you'd be doing her a favor, getting a gun you want and, at that price, keeping peace in the family. Just my $.02.
