value of 357 PA Game Commission collector handgun
I have a 357 Mag PA Game Commission 100 year anniversary collector handgun with wood case, original box and some paperwork. 900 guns were made. You could get your name printed on the gun but I decided not to do that not knowing if I was going to keep it. The gun has never been fired. Does anybody know what the value may be? I was going to attach a picture but could not figure out how to do it.

It would be helpful if you would describe the MAKE and MODEL of the gun in question (EG Smith and Wesson model 66).
Assuming you have a revolver (which it sounds like), you might also describe the barrel length, and what sort of grips it has on there.
Posting a quality picture (or more than one) would be even better yet.
The board experts are very good, but its probably safe to say that none of them have psychic powers or know every single variation of every single firearm ever produced. Nobody can tell you how much your gun is worth without knowing at least a bit more information than what you've provided.
If you don't know how to post a picture, there are good directions written in the "sticky" at the top of the ASK THE EXPERTS page.
In general, limited number "commemorative" guns rarely command a lot more money than normal production ones. In some cases, they're not worth ANY more money than similar guns without the cosmetic add-ons.
In your case, your gun MIGHT have extra value to a member of the PA Game commission, or a close friend or family member. But to the average shooter or collector, probably not.0 -

Stipulating that there probably isn't some OTHER 100 year anniversary .357 magnum PA game commission revolver with a 900 gun run, that looks to be a 1995 Smith and Wesson model 586, the "distinguished combat magnum".
The 586 guns are no longer being manufactured, and older "pre-lock" guns like that one are (slowly) becoming increasingly collectible.
Assuming 100% condition (which it should be, if its been stored properly and never fired), I'd estimate the gun at maybe $750-850 including the display box and contents. As mentioned, it might have a little more value to someone with a connection the PA game commission.0
