  Can any one tell me about Pac West Arms Ar-15. All it says
  is PWA Milan ,IL Cal. 5.56 Commando Ser. 004236
  It is in mint shape any values would be apreciated

  Without knowing the condition any where from $800-$1200.

  If it is in really decent condition, here in NY it is worth about $1500.00, if made before 1994.

  I thought the Match Target was a flat top with removable handle... not an A2...

  The model MT6551 is a Match Target with A2 sights.
  
  Sawz, Colt never made a "target match grade". The exact markings stamped on the receiver identify the rifle, but I assume that you are trying to recall from memory since your nephew has the gun.
  
  This is another reason why we need to see photos, including some close enough to show all markings.
