    Well, you left out one important detail: the seller calls it a "Colt Springfield Armory Classic". You also forgot to give us a link to the auction.

    I can see why you asked; it is a strange one. It's not listed in S. Fjestad's Blue Book of Gun Values. It looks like a Colt based on the frame markings & owners manual. So, where does "Springfield Armory" come in? The seller has several guns listed; maybe he confused a couple of them. If I were considering it, I'd ask the seller for a photo of the box end label, & a close up of the (complete) serial number. (If it's a Colt-decorated special edition, it should have a unique SN prefix.)

    I agree with Tommyjoe it also has the 1911 type long trigger and straight mainspring housing not like a 1911A1 but the super high polish blue will be hard to keep looking fresh.

    Looks like the SN starts SFLDA with 2 number following.
