Dating a JC Higgins Rifle or shotgun

Hello,

Maybe someone could point me in the right direction.

I am looking for a source to match serial numbers and the manufacturing date of JC Higgins centerfire rifles & shotguns, in particular the Model 50 rifle.

I understand they were made by High Standard for Sears.

Do you know of a source for ser. # / date data?

  Here is a link to a chart showing when the Sears center fire rifles by High Standard were in the Sears catalogs.

  Note, near the end of Model 50 production, High Standard began using assembly date codes.
  
  To date I have found very few serial numbers for the Model 50 in the ATF records. Most of the serial numbers I have found are for the model 51-L and the later High Standard branded versions.
  
  I know of no publuished serial number vs date shipped/manufactured tables for these guns.
