Will a Rem model seven bbl screw onto 700 action

I have a 700 small bolt face action that's been sitting around for about 10yrs..and I have thought about a switch bbl plinker light walking rifle in 221 rem fireball and the second bbl maybe in 204 Ruger or 17 rem fireball.. Who knows if they will screw together without modification.. to the barrel tenon and or threads? I have a chance to get a model 7 take off in 221 rem FB for a good price.. If it is not a hassle then I can consider it.. If not then I will look / wait for a ss 700 bbl. thanks.. b3d

    YES THEY WILL BUT.........YOU WILL HAVE TO HEADSPACE EACH BARREL TO YOUR ACTION AND THEY MAY NOT 'INDEX' AS IS.
