Remington 673 in .243 Winchester
Has anybody seen one of these sell on here or any auction site? I am trying to get an approximation on value for when I list it.

I seen one here a couple of years ago. You can start it at $1000, and watch it go from there. I think the one I seen was still in the box, and it went for about $1400. Makes me want to kick myself in the ars because I could have bought one in 2004 for $550. How stupid was I? 0 -

I could say the same about not keeping mine new in the box I guess. [:(]
Oh well, can't know the future I guess.
I posted this on another forum I visit from time to time and they are telling me if I get $500 for it I am lucky! I am even more confused now. My guess was somewhere in the middle of these 2 estimates, but I am not sure at all now. [:0]

I could be wrong, but I believe you will get $1000, minimum. There were only a few scant of these made in 243. As a matter of fact, I first about the 673 in 243 in a gun article written by a woman who was using one, but I can't remember her name. Anyway, I called Remington about it because it wasn't listed in their catalog as being available in that caliber. The person I talked too didn't know a thing about it in 243. He was adamant about it not being possible. Later on, I seen one here on Gunbroker for $550, new. I emailed the place that had it, and he said he had ordered 20 of them in that caliber from somewhere. I believe this place was in New York. Anyway, I know there is darned few of them available anywhere, and like I said, the last one that sold here on gunbroker was in the $1300-$1400 range. I check on them constantly. I would buy one, but my wife would probably take it away from me in divorce court, so I just have to watch them sell from the sideline. Best of luck. Hope you get for it what I'm guesstimating you will 0
