M1910 Glisenti Pistol
I just bought 2 Italian M1910 Glisenti pistols. Both in great shape. I was however trying to get an accurate price on each. One was dated 1909 which kinda confused me since I thought they were introduced in 1910. The other is dated 1910. They're numbers matching as far as I can tell and the finish on each are great. 97/98% bluing on the 1909 and 98/99% on the 1910. The 1909 however was missing the grip on the left which for the short time I've placed repro grips on it. I want to place orginal grips on the 1909 pistol someday. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Value would be a hard call, I've haven't seen one sold for years. Never were made in great quantity, and were way to fragile for a military pistol. They might look OK externally but they could very well be trashed internally? Years ago the one I had, was like that.
They were made for a special low powdered 9mm cartridge. If loaded and fired with the standard 9mm Luger cartridge they had a tendency to self destruct.
There was a version called a Brixia, it had a unique magazine different then the Glisenti. Your early one might be a Brixia?0
