Dunno, but I'd copy that page and send it to 'em - implied (if not expressed) warranty. Does it mention any fees, etc. for replacement/repair?

No there is no mention of cost. I have had it done before for free...now they want money.

I just had them send me a new measuring cylinder for their powder measure without charge. I have had it for many years and the old one just wore out. I have had nothing but great service from them.

Free is nice, but $16 sounds reasonable considering.

I've had, as I recall, 3 cases of die problems. Each one ended up with RCBS returning a NEW die in a NEW box without charge. They advertise "lifetime warranty" on their products and I'm surprised they charged you.

Now I'm the first to criticize them when it comes to their lack of service on electronics but am happy to give praise where it is due with regards to the warranty on their dies. I too am surprised they charged. Maybe calling it a custom job rather than warranty work (as it really is...)?

For all I know I am the only person who has managed to break a rock chucker press. I called them and they replaced it free (even shipping). Never had anything but great service from RCBS.

I called RCBS customer support...the guy I talked to said make a copy of the instuctions that say return and they will modify the plug with a note on what is wrong and a couple of sample bullets...so I have. Will let you know what happens.
