Welcome to the forum. Best way to find out is post it on the for sale side with pictures and see what the market will bring.

Welcome to gunbroker. I have several Savage 219's, but none of them are in 25-20. Your 25-20 caliber is the most rare of all the chamberings, and commands a premium price. Since you don't have a complete gun, it's hard to give you a specific range, but i would start the bidding at 350.00 and don't set a reserve price. Before you set up your auction, go to this web site: savageshooters.com and ask an expert/moderator called "Mad Dog" about your barrel. He is a Savage 219 expert and has researched that model extensively. I believe the "Other Savage Firearms" section holds the most info on the 219 series of single shot utility rifles and their values.

I have had several 219's in the past. .25-20 is definitely the hard one to find. I never did. While it MAY bring $350, to me this is too high for a minimum bid. Just my opinion. You can always try it and see what pops. If you run it for a while and get no bids, you can always lower the starting bid. These guns have a definite following.

the real value of anything is what you can get for it at any given time so basically 5mm had the best idea when he said if you really want to know what it's worth put on auction and watch what it sells for, I believe this is the way to know, not that it isn't worth $350 but in this economy good luck trying to get it when everyone is looking to make money instead of spending it.
