    Only 3 calibers have collectability as far as price goes,.222rem,.223rem,and the .257 roberts bring premiums. All other calibers the value falls off sharply. Made between 1952-1980. .243 introduced in 1968.

    You left out the .244 and the .280 Carbine . You actually don't see too many .243s , at least for sale anyway ! I work with the 760 quite a bit . [:D]

    The 760 in .243 isn't rare or collectible, in my opinion. It is a sweet shooting and accurate rifle that owners seldom sell. Often they get passed on to the younger generation because they make a great beginner's deer rifle. Try one and you'll see what I mean. Most of the 760's in your local gun store will be in 30-06. Nothing wrong with that caliber, I just like the 243 better in a 760.

    Like someone said .222,.223 and 257 roberts are the big dollars I have been here lately seeing the 243 bringing about a hundred more then the 30-06 or 308
