Replacment Front Beads??
I'm wanting to replace the front factory bead on my Remington 870 Express with one that is fiber optic......Is the factory bead threaded or pressed in? Also what is the best Fiber Optic bead out there for this application?

LOOK AT THE BEAD, IF THE IS A CIRCULAR RING AROUND ITS BASE IT IS CRIMPED IN. TO REMOVE, CLAMP DOWN ON THE BEAD WITH A VISE-GRIP AND PULL AND TWIST, YOU CAN THEN THREAD THE HOLE FOR 6/48 SCREW. 0 -

I belive it is......I seen where Brownells has the bit set to tap the threads and the replacement fiber beads are pretty cheap....Thank you for your input!!0 -
you can also use a fiber optic that attaches to the rib. it is very east to install. i like the fiber optic beads, but they are not very durable. 0
