Winchester 9417 questions?
I have a model 9417 lever action 17 hmr rifle. Ive shot it maybe 75 times since I purchased it in 2003. The gun is just about flawless except one little spot of rust right on the topside of the gun where it connects to the stock. I think it can be gotten off but I want to let a professional do that. Ive also got a Simmons 3-9 X 40 scope on the gun. What should I ask for the gun? Should I remove the scope or sell it with the scope for better value? If I sell it on this website how do I go about getting paid and shipping the gun?

I also have one, similar usage but no rust. A few years back they seemed to be worth about $900. Now I would guess $700.
Get some lubrication on your rust spot.
