Are you the buyer or the seller? If you are..

The seller: don't sell. Shaky economy. They can be sold for more when the economy improves. Wait until you can get $50,000 for the lot. If you can get $50K now, then wait some more, due to reasons just posted.

The buyer: buy now. Same reason. See if you can steal the guns for $30,000, or thereabouts.

All of above: due to the supply and demand aspect, they will only be going up in value, as there are no more to be had.

Everything I've just said is, of course, up to the individual. This post is merely a guideline, as I may be 'off the mark' in valuation. Thanks, Joe

    Olympic $9500 at best.
    Smith M14 $13,000.
These are very accurate selling #s.

AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!! You knocked me right off my chair!! I'm the OWNER, not looking to sell, just wanted to see what's the value. Good Lord, I bought these for $1300 and $1500 respectively. Saved up for 15 yrs to have what I used in VN even if they weren't GI. The same dealer had a working transferable M60 I could've got for $3000 but didn't have the money. If I'd known this I'd sold some fingers!!!!

10 years ago, you could have got a Colt made M16 for $4000.00-6000.00 for one that ran good, or 8k for a minty one....now a minty one goes for near 20k or more. I have a friend who acquired a first year Government Carbine...NIB...in the 25k range.

Check out the Thompson's they are in the 20k range too.

Go to the auction side, and just click on firearms in the left column...then in the header click on Class III. You will be amazed. they are a better investment than the stock market ever thought of being. Provided you live in a state that allows it.

You are sitting on a gold mine!!
