Ruger M-77 Mark II
HELP HELP RugerM-77 Mark II Rifle
I have a Ruger M-77 Mark II Rifle using a Bushnell 45 Buckmaster Scope
A local Stock Maker made me a Custom Walnut Stock w/Cheekpiece for it.
With the Gun & Scope mounted in the New Stock I can't get the full depth of Field. ( The Scope is mounted back as far as it can go.)
The top of the receiver has 2 Factory machined slots for installing the Scope Bases so they can't be moved.
Does Anybody make a set of Scope Bases that are offset to the Rear so I can move the Scope back (1/4" to 1/2") ????
Thanks in advance, Dairyland Man

You can get an adapter to convert from Ruger to Weaver mount (this opens up your choices of rings)...
Here's my Ruger M77 MKII in .338WM and notice the amount of adjustment I can set my scope back. Adapter and rings costs me ~$50.
Another option is to get a scope with better eye relief.
ADDED:
If you want to stay with all Ruger, here's their ring fit chart for reference ...

Ruger makes an offset ring for the M-77s, this is a medium ring for the front on the 77s. It will allow the scope to move back a bit. The #1s use the same size ring front and rear so two rings can be used. #4BO for blue rings, # 4KO for stainless.
