Where are all the new M16 parts kits coming from?
There are currently a bunch of nearly new condition, 1960's vintage, M16 kits on the market these days. Descriptions state that they have in storage for many years in some "foreign country." Anybody know where? .just curious.

Sounds reasonable. The kit I have came with a new sling labeled "COLT P/N 62249". This particular sling is black cloth, has two buckles, no keeper, and no snap-on fixture for the rear swivel. I don't think that these were ever used by the US Military. The only place that I've seen them pictured is on a Taiwanese rifle. Could they be coming from Taiwan?

My question is, are they legal to put on a Ar-15 semi auto lower, or are the M-16 parts still illegal?? 0
