This model is usually called the .22 BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle), or ATD (Automatic Take Down).

If the receiver is blue, it's a Grade I.

    Yes, photos are necessary.

Champ, First, welcome to the forums. I have 2 Browning Take-down .22's, a grade I and a grade II. The blued is my grade I and the one with the grey receiver & gold trigger is my grade II. Notice there is little engraving on the grade I. The grade II has the grey receiver plus more engraving.

The grade III's have a coin finish or grey chrome receiver, more elaborate game scene than the grade II and extra deluxe walnut stocks.

I thought the Belgium made guns were worth more than that.

Not at 90% and not a grade I.

Is your Browning early enough to have the Wheel Rear Sight? What is the serial number range?

one man's 90 is another's 98, most people have no understanding of the NRA % guidelines that's why pics are a must

IMO the 400.00 is way off. I have A 1959 made that I was offerd 1000.00 for which I turned down from what i have seen sell on GB belgian go from anywhere from 800 up in that shape
