    Change Powder...

    axlebraker,

How cold is it where you're at? Extreme cold will delay ignition sometimes with double based powders. Are you having to pick cases out of the snow? Water/moisture will do it. Dirty cases on the inside can do this too.

Last but not least check your powder load and make sure it's up to where it should be. Because that's a double based powder you might want to use magnum primers in the cold. Specifically why I now shy away from using slow double based powders in the cold.

If none of the above apply to you, then do as the Capt. said and change powder. You might have a bad can. Know if it's anything above before you load any more of that can.

    -good luck

If you are shooting reduced loads in the Ultra Mag's, you will get pop-bangs too. They like to have a tite case.

Try using a magnum primer with that load that hangfires and if your using a reduced load use some kapock or other filler to keep the powder back towards the primer.
