Type of Tang Sight for Rossi 92
Can anyone tell me which Lyman tang sight can be put on a Rossi 92 with little or no(preferably none) gunsmithing?

EDIT:
Actually, Chris, Steve DOES respond to e-mails. Unfortunately, for many people, his backlog does not equal "instantaneous" answers. If anyone feels that e-mail won't cut it, then call Steve at his telephone number, as seen above.0 -

you can use any lyman tang sight that is for a 92 or 94 winchester, but you must get the screws for the rossie as the treads on the screws are different. midway has them. that being said, you will have to turn the heads off so they will fit into the counter sunk base of the lyman sight. not as had to do a you would think. i did it as i had a older lyman tang sight in a just box and could not see buying one. you could just but a marbles sight for the rossie but will still have to buy the screws. eastbank. 0 -
This might do the job.

Look in Brownells. They will have a listing of Lyman, and Marbles tang sites.
