Broomhandle Mauser
Of all the Broomhandle Mausers which is the most desirable? I know where there is a 5 digit pistol, persian contrat with a matching holster with the extra spring for the mag and cleaning rod. Red Nine on the grip. Pistol is in I'll say 90 to 95%. Also leather holster and wood stock. The number on the stock matches the pistol. Thanks. Sam.

I have a mauser pistol that I got form a relative that was in WW2. I just found the paperwork on the pistol in a scrapbook he had. It has Certificate on it and it says captured enemy military equipment. The serial number on the certicate matchs the pistol and is not dated. It just says it conforms with the provisions of Sec. III, Cir 353, WD, 31 Aug. 1944. It is signed by a Capt. in New York Percentage wise what would this add to the value of this piece. Thanks. Sam. 0 -

There is a menu on the left side of the page. Click on "parts breakdown".
Take you BH apart and compare to the photos. The part in a pistol that keeps the hammer cocked is known as the sear. Your sear might be broken or missing. Being somebody has either broke or removed the safety they might have done the same thing to the sear?0 -
Thanks Rufe
