AR 15 with .450 Bushmaster upper...

Do any of you own an AR set up like this?

If so, i am interested in any feedback you are willing to share, as i am considering purchasing one. I will use it primarily for hog hunting, not target shooting.

    We tested this when it was first released and I haven't done anything with it since. I have always believed that cartridges of this type make superb wild boar (hog) rifles. Sure they can be killed with other cartridges and calibers but there is something to be said for the 'thump' provided by 45 cal. cartridges.

    This is not an accuracy target cartridge by any means, it's meant to provide lots of energy and a big hole to kill things. The tests I've done and seen, reinforced this. Targets ran the gamut from 1-1/2" to nearly 3" with some loads. But remember the use, it doesn't need to have pinpoint accuracy.
