H&R 38 S&W CTGE revolver

I am attempting to find a value and approx. manufacture date on an old revolver that my father gave to me years ago. The weapon is a Harrington & Richardson 38 S&W CTGE, 5 shot, break open, auto eject, blued, hammerless revolver. The frame has slight freckling but the bore and overall condition of the gun is in good condition. I would rate it at around 70-80%. Imprinted on the upper part of the grip is a, square, target symbol with, target rings and bullet holes. The ser# is 121576. Thanks !

    this is a second model 3rd or 4th variation depending on the barrel markings.

The cylinder was lengthen to take the 32 S&W long cartridge and the catalogs now listed the calibers as; 6 shot 32 S&W, 32 S&W Long, 32 Colt New Police cartridges. Also offered in 5 shot 38 S&W and 38 Colt New Police. Caliber marked on left side of barrel THIS MODEL WAS DESIGNED FOR SMOKELESS POWDER CARTRIDGE PRESSURES
