Need Some Help
I have a tesco 16 guage double barrel shotgun that my grandfather got in Germany during world war II. I can't find anything anywhere about this gun. Can anyone help?

Hi, I am very new at collecting guns so could use some advice from others with knowlage.
I was given a US model 1917 Eddystone and want to put a scope on it. Ithas the ears or wings shaved off and at onetime somone had a side mount on it. Can anyone recomend a mount I can find that would work the best? I would like onother side mount but don't want to drill more holes if holes don't match original side mount holes.

If it says 35 thats what I'd assume it is. Is the back edge of the cylinder release rounded or square? 0 -
Is it a K frame or a J frame [?] Post the serial number and some pictures. 0 -

Your gun is probably the Model 35 (model of 1953 .22/32 target)
The Model 35 (no dash) would be a target gun built in the I frame. It will look like a slightly scaled down M 17 (Which is the K frame).
The Model 35 will have a cylinder of 1.32" length while the Model 17 gun's cylinder will be 1.62" in length.
Nice gun, especially suited for the person with small hands.

I'll work on getting a picture for it.
Another thing I noticed about it is that the S&W stamp is on the left side, same side as the cylinder release.
Can anyone help me out with the value as well.....This gun is in perfect, looks like brand new condition. I couldn't hardly get it to eject the shells after I fired them.0 -

Forgive me Sir, but my previous post contained some errors. Now with the serial # to work with, maybe I can come closer to actual spec's.
Ser # M50655 was manufactured in late 1972 or early 1973. That is close to the end of the model run as the Model 35 was discontinued in 1973. Your gun will be a Model 35-1 & a J frame. As the -1 denotes a change from I to J frame, your gun's cylinder should be 1.44" long.
The sticky ejection is probably caused by residue of some oil or corrosion preventive left in the cylinder. The chambers should be clean & dry before firing.

The above book prices are 3 years old but should still make a good starting point for listing at auction. Only an auction on the open market will truly tell the top price for today.
