7.62X54R brass, other than Norma....
Is any reloadable brass going to be available from sources other than Norma? At the Norma empty case prices a coffee can full of 7.62X54R brass would be worth more than the rifle shooting it!!!!

Not empty brass, but the Seller & Belloit, as made for and sold by Winchester is reloadable. I don't know about the S&B boxed S&B ammo 0 -
prvi partizan makes reloadable brass cased 7.62x54 ammo. dont know anyone that just makes brass 0 -
Grafs has reloadable boxer primed brass from their house brand... made by PRVI I think. It's not norma but pretty good stuff. 0 -
I have bought a bunch of Sellier & Belloit, to shoot, of course, and eventually to get the brass for reloading. And I have reloaded quite a bit of it, using cast bullets. I have found the loaded ammo satisfactory for hunting (the 180 grain soft point very effective on deer, about as good as any US .30 caliber bullets I have used). I have read mixed reports on the brass quality, but my experience has been that the brass is just fine. I normally prep all my brass by thorough cleaning, de-burring the flash hole, and trimming to uniform length, and the S&B stuff seems about the same as any other upon inspection and during those operations. I own (including rifles I have given to my son, son-in-law, and grandsons) an even dozen various Mosin rifles, and figured the inexpensive surplus would go away some day, and wes should do something to be able to keep shooting. Also the cast-bullet loads are gentle on the barrels, so these old rifles will last another 60 or 100 years. 0 -

Not sure what I did wrong. But if you search 7.62x54r brass in the reloading section it will come up. 0 -
Here is what I did, but it was cheaper then. I bought a can of 7.62x54R, and pulled the bullets. Good useable, cheap, primed brass. I reused some of the bullets putting in the charge I wanted. The rest of the bullets I sold. 0
