You might do better over on one of the dedicated AK forums where there are guys slapping pieces of metal together and calling them rifles. 0 -
The stamped receiver is just a 1 to 1.5mm stamping bent into a box & the holes are usually heat treated by a hand torch & spot welded to secure bolt rails. Very little difference if any within what you mentioned most likely you might have to drill to meet up however trueness seems a concept with AKs and not a rule. Therefor if you're good at drilling holes you'll find most AK stuff interchanges. So will it work? I know I could "make it" work but what are you capable of? 0 -
Just have to clarify, I don't mean to talk anyone down, just to realize it's just a simple sheet-metal box. If uncomfortable drilling, just wait for a "replacement parts kit" to come out or to be available. Keep in mind it has to have a USA manufactured parts count, I believe it's 10 (someone correct me if wrong). On some imported receivers that I've seen in the past the F.C.G. pin holes often are filed back to standard and the wire retaining spring compensates. It is what it is, no need to be picky. I still have to find one that meet my standards. Seen some where the sharp edges were pounded down with a hammer as apposed to filing. 0
