Price check on primers?

Local shop has some Remington LR,SP primers for 35.00 1000 good price, ok or crap that's high[:p]? Also are they pretty good brand or is a primer a primer?

    To me thats high but thats 4 bucks a thousand cheaper than what I saw them for yesterday.They had Federal,CCI and Winchester.Powder was nuts 29.00 a LB for Bullseye.Glad I don't need any.

    Actually thats the cheapest I have seen them in 6 months.Thats here in GA.

    I just picked up 1000 Federal SP magnum primers for $32.99 at Cabelas...last Time I purchased they ran me $26.00. Pistol primers around here have been very scarce...I was ok with they price...needed them..reloader44mag

    Yep I'm in the same boat, I need'um so I guess its a good price.

    Here in Kalifornia, the local shops are all above $50.00 per M for any American primer. The Wolf primers are between $35.00 and $40.00 per M, but I tried them and didn't like em.

    $35.00 a thousand in Central Mississippi and $ 44.00 a thousand for bench rest......Mark

    Here in Western Ohio, I've been buying them for between $29-$35 @ 1000.

    Have not seen std primers OVER 30.00 around here. 29.99 is std anymore. That's at the retail stores; Sportsman and Scheels.

    store i was just at tonight had all the cci primes in stock. large/magnum rifle, large/magnum pistol. with the same in small rifle and small pistol. 29 bucks /1000. [:D] limit 2 boxes per visit[B)][:(]

    Cant find any Federal 215 magnums here or Federal anything really except 209's, Sportsmans did get some in and I missed it they were gone again and the powder is going quick too..... "still" [V] So ya IF ya find it and need it thats a good price in my book still[^]

    Get out of the stores, Go to the shooting range on pistol night, you might find somebody to sell you primers around $26 a 1000. I get all mine that way. Stay away from Federal primers they suck.

    Just got back from a gun show in west TN and I almost had a stroke. They had primers for $55 a thousand. I can get the same ones at a local shop for about $35 to $40 a thousand.

    Why are primers so expensive on the Gunbroker auction area. Cabela's has CCI #500 small pistal primers for 37.00. On the auction the same go for 55 plus 14 for shipping.
