LW Barnard Bolt Action Rifle

This rifle has LW Barnard name stamped on barrel. Is it custom made? It is a 220 swift with bull barrel. What is the value of gun?

    There is one current Barnard being manufactured and a couple from the past. It would be most helpful if you posted sharp, well-lit photographs of your rifle. These should include overalls and then details of the action and all markings.

    Note that some proof marks and factory inspection marks are found under the stock.

    There is a guide to posting photographs located at the top of this forum in a 'sticky' titled 'Posting Photographs'.

    This gun is up for auction locally. Sorry No pic's. Its an older rifle.
    Thought maybe get rough estimate.

    I found the auction site, but there are no individual pictures of the guns and I could not blow the collection up enough to identify the heavy barrelled bolt action shown. Looks like a military bolt action, maybe a 1917, sporterized in the style of the 1950s and early 60s. No way to know how much barrel life is left in a Swift, dollar value is a few hundreds at best.
