What bullet are you loading? I have several manuals and would be glad to scan the information for the 7mm Rum and email it to you if you send me your email.

I just posted a topic looking for info. on the 7mm RUM. I have been researching this some and I can't seem to get a 150gr 7mm bullet up to that. I think he is full of crap.

Here is a link for factory ammo that claims 3325 fps with 150 sciroccos. Buy some factory loads and see how the shoot.

The factory 180's shot 1 moa out of my 300 at 100 yards before I bedded and had the trigger done.

    Thanks Redneck,
Thats what we've been shooting (Remington Premier) 150 Sciroccos.
But at $60 a box, I can load them for 1/2 that. Will probably shoot 168gr. Sierra matchking and 139gr. Hornady's and keep the sciroccos for hunting.

    Ash,

Depending on the powder you plan to use, you could start here.

    http://data.hodgdon.com/cartridge_load.asp

All the 150 gr loads use a Scirocco!

    Good Luck.

WARNING! Pages 108 and 109 in the Hodgdon 2010 Annual Manual (which includes 7 RUM data) are incorrect! The pages are misprinted. Do NOT use this data.

You can request a properly printed pair of those pages at no charge from Hodgdon.

    Thanks Laylandad,
That was about the only info. I had till this forum.
I wonder if the stuff on the Hodgdon site is correct, after reading Rocky's addition about their manual being misprinted kinda scares me.
I always start low and work up but these are huge loads with massive pressures.

    ashjam,

Sierra doesn't list anything for the 7mm Rum as far as load data.

    Hornady lists: 139gr Bullet

    AA3100 starting at 77.6 3000fps max84.4 3300fps

    H 4831 Start 78.3 3000fps Max86.1 3300fps

    Rl 22 Start 74.2 3000fps max 90.4 3400fps

    Imr7828 start 78.7 3000fps Max 89.1 3400fps

    viht N-165 start 78.5 3000fps max 86.8 3300fps

    H1000 start 88.1 3100fps max 96.4 3500fps

Sorry I took so long to get this info for you. This is all of the load data that is listed for the Hornady 139gr bullet.
