Taurus 738 TCP
My friend recently bought a Taurus 738 TCP, a small .380 automatic designed to compete with the Ruger LCP and the Kel-Tec. As many of you know, it's hard to find a Ruger LCP or a Kel-Tec, unless you want to pay a lot more than you were hoping to. My friend just loves this Taurus, but before I get one, I want some opinions from people who know a lot more about this pistol.
So, what can anyone tell me about the TCP? Is it worth buying, or should I get something else? I'm looking for a small pocket pistol to carry in warm weather, when I can't conceal my FNP 45 (which I really like).

I just saw one of these for the first time at a gun show the other day and it looked like a pretty nice pistol. I've been a little hesitant myself about getting one, I tried the Ruger LCP when it came out and wasn't extremely impressed, but it was acceptable for what it was I guess. I know a countless amount of others that loved it, so I'm probably in the minority.
I would also like to hear of anybody's experience with one of these new Taurus pistols too, now that I've seen one. Somebody hurry and reply before I empty the ol' gun fund! Thanks![:D]0 -
there is a good test and article in either the feb '10 or march '10 NRA american rifleman on the taurus tcp and several other pocket .380 auto's. 0
