Model 70 Manufacture Date

I have a 7mm Model 70 Featherweight Sporter with serial # G2041999. Any idea as to when it was made? What is your opinion on this rifle and caliber? What is it worth?

    Welcome to the forums here on Gunbroker.

    To give you the information you are looking for, we are going to need a bit more ourselves. First off, it ould be nice to see some pictures, so we could evaluate the condition. One man's mint condition is anotheer's 60-70%. There is a sticky near the top of the Ask the Experts forum, which explains picture posting. You need to use a photo hosting URL to do so. We also need to know which 7mm chambering it is...there is the 7x57mm Mauser, the 7mm-08, 7mm Rem Mag, 7mm Wby Mag, etc

    If your rifle is a 7mm Rem Mag, and does not have the Classic Action with the Mauser claw extractor, it was made in 1991-1992. If it is the Classic action it was made after 1992. Its value is around $650.00 in NIB condition.

    It is a Rem-mag. I guess I'm stupid. I can't figure out how to post a picture. What is a sticky? I can't find anything at the top of the page.
