Antique Revolver ID needed.

Recently acquired antique revolver.

No idea on the make/model/age.

The letters VP are stamped into the grip. Also, an ornate letter D is stamped into the cylinder.

Any help appreciated.

It's known as a "Barrelless Pattern Pinfire". More then likely made in Belgium, probably dates to the 1860's/70's time frame. Because of it's unique appearance it would have more interest/value to a collector than one of the more run of the mill Belgian Pinfires.
