GECO is a Trade Mark/Trade Name used by the Gustav Genschow Co., which was a large German manufacturer/distributor of sporting goods and firearms. Originally their business dated to at least the 1920's, and it is still operating under new ownership. Without any other markings it is hard to say anything about the holster other then it was a common type used in Germany for large military type handguns. Probably was made by a subcontractor for Genschow, could be for the post W W II paramilitary/police in West Germany.
