Winchester Model 12 Stock ( 12 ga. & 20 ga.)

How do you tell if the stock is for Winchester Model 12, 12 ga. or a Winchester Model 12, 20 ga? I saw stocks on an auction site but the seller did not know if the stock was for a 12 or a 20.

  Are you looking for a 12 or 20? What ever you have, measure the tang, lenth and width, ask the seller to measure his, if it's the same, you found your stock.
