Lyman 56MC peep sights

Hi! Does anyone have any information on history or dates of manufacture for Lyman 56MC peep sights. I have one on a Marlin 36A-DL made in 1947 and it looks like it has been on the rifle since it was new. Also, where can I get another one? Thanks

  The Lyman 56 series receiver mounted peep sights were introduced circa 1934, and could have been special ordered thereafter. Have you tried a Google search?
