Garand windage knob question
have a garand windage knob..holding it so the arrows are on top and bottom..top..wh stamped under the arrow..bottom..s.a. stamped over the arrow..both arrowhead are of the open type..similiar to winchester knobs..have a second windage knob with the normal closed arrowhead with a large SA stamped under the arrow...can find little real info on the SA stamped..and no info on the wh/s.a...any help from the experts?

SA knobs and elevation pinions are hard to locate and it is believed that very few of either were ever actually used by Springfield. I've seen both variations and the differences probably have to do with the time frame the parts were manufactured. They are an interesting curiosity. 0
