What year is this 1911 and is the recever a rand or colt. What does the aa stand for any info would be great Thanks

  The general worn condition of the pistol with the patinated finish, mismatched slide and receiver, Bomar sight and replacement grips. Suggests that it has has very little collectors value as pictured. As a shooter would probably grade out as being in Good/Very Good condition.
