Colt 1872 Open-Top Copies...

Does anybody have any experience with these? I have been thinking of buying one in .38, because I have a mountain of .38 ammunition (all standard-pressure, or lighter). Pros and Cons of any kind? Thanks for any replies.

  I've got a pair of the Cimarron Man With No Name pistols. They work great with factory and hand loads. Their primary diet is BP though.

  I have a Cimarron 1872 open top in 44spl, the workmanship is good, it shoots great. I load it with 4 gr of Trail Boss behind a 200 gr cast RNFP bullet, very accurate. Just about my favorite wheel gun.
